Lambretta J200 unveiled with dual-channel ABS at Malaysia's Art of Speed

Italian scooter maker Lambretta introduced the J200 model at the Art of Speed 2026 exhibition in Malaysia. The retro‑styled scooter revives the 1960s J‑Series line and is equipped with a 174.5 cc, four‑valve SOHC engine delivering 16.8 hp and 15.5 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. Safety features include hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels and a standard dual‑channel ABS system. The J200 offers four colour options—Gemme White, Super Black, Cocoa Brown and Light Grey—and a colour LCD display. Bosch supplies the engine management ECU and fuel‑injection system, aiming for efficient fuel consumption. The launch targets the premium urban scooter segment in Southeast Asia, positioning the J200 as a high‑spec alternative to models such as the Honda SH.
