Lamezia Terme loses multiple regional funding opportunities

Paola Muraca of the UDC Youth Movement has criticized the municipal administration of Lamezia Terme for failing to secure several regional funding opportunities in Calabria. The organization claims that administrative errors and delays have resulted in the loss of significant financial resources intended for local development.

Specific missed opportunities include funding for circular economy and environmental sustainability projects, which was lost due to a late application. Additionally, the city was excluded from the ‘Strade ed infrastrutture aree rurali’ fund due to incorrect application completion. The group also noted that Lamezia Terme failed to secure positions for the ‘Calabria Attrattiva’ tourism promotion fund and the ‘Agorà Calabria’ fund for territorial tourism valorization.
