Lamia to host Tennis Europe Juniors U12 tournament

Lamia will host the Tennis Europe Juniors U12 Category 2 tournament, known as the Lamia Cup 2026, from October 3 to October 10, 2026. The event features more than 80 young athletes traveling from nine different European countries to participate in the international competition.

The tournament is organized by the Phthiotis Tennis Club and supported by the Municipality of Lamia, the Region of Central Greece, and other local and national sports organizations. As part of the event, a Players Party is scheduled for October 4 in collaboration with the Lamia Music School. The hosting of this tournament is part of a local strategy to promote Lamia as a modern sports and tourism destination by linking athletics with local culture.
