Lamine Camara discusses failed Chelsea transfer

AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara has addressed his failed transfer to Chelsea during the final hours of the summer window. Although Monaco had accepted a third bid for the player, the move collapsed after the club failed to complete the necessary paperwork to submit a deal sheet to the Premier League.

Speaking at a press conference, the Senegalese international described the situation as a “hectic moment” and a part of professional football. Camara noted that he has attempted to move past the incident to focus on his performance with Monaco, citing a strong recent performance in a 2-1 victory against Paris Saint-Germain as evidence of his commitment.

Camara also credited Monaco captain Denis Zakaria, a former Chelsea player, for providing support and helping him maintain focus following the transfer complications.
