Lamine Yamal achieves double-double milestone

FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has become the first player in the major leagues to record double figures in both goals and assists within the same season. Despite Barcelona suffering their first defeat of the season against PSG at Parc des Princes, Yamal reached the milestone by contributing a goal during the match.

Having played in all 12 matches played by Barcelona so far this season across La Liga and the Champions League, Yamal has accumulated 10 goals and 10 assists. This brings his total goal contributions to 20 in just 12 appearances.
