Lamine Yamal leads list of youngest Barcelona and Real Madrid players

Lamine Yamal has set a record as the youngest player to appear for FC Barcelona's first team in the current century, debuting at 15 years, 9 months, and 16 days old. According to a report by Planet Football, Yamal leads a list of the ten youngest players to feature for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Martin Ødegaard is the only Real Madrid player featured in the top ten, having made his debut at 16 years, 5 months, and 6 days. Other notable names on the list include Pau Cubarsí, Ansu Fati, and Gavi.

Amidst these records, 15-year-old Manchester United talent JJ Gabriel has reportedly expressed a desire to leave his current club. His potential move to Spain has drawn interest, with Barcelona cited as a primary destination due to its reputation for integrating youth talent through the La Masia academy.
