Lamine Yamal reportedly tops unconfirmed 2026 Ballon d'Or leaked list

An unconfirmed, allegedly leaked list for the 2026 Ballon d'Or has circulated, purportedly placing Barcelona's Lamine Yamal in first place with 670 points. According to the unofficial rankings, Lionel Messi follows in second place with 546 points.

The leaked top five includes Kylian Mbappé in third (401 points), Harry Kane in fourth (342 points), and Michael Olise in fifth (300 points). Other names appearing in the top ten are Erling Haaland, Rodri, Pau Cubarsí, Jude Bellingham, and Lautaro Martínez, who reportedly holds the tenth position with 21 points.

While the list remains unverified by official sources, different projections exist regarding the favorites. Some analyses suggest Harry Kane could be a primary candidate following a high-scoring season, while Yamal has expressed that the award should recognize the best player of the year through unique contributions rather than just goal counts.
