Spanish forward Lamine Yamal was seen walking through the streets of Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States on 28 June, the day his national team had a scheduled rest during the 2026 World Cup. He was accompanied at all times by private security officers from the Royal Spanish Football Federation, and fans gathered at his hotel entrance hoping for photos and autographs.

While Yamal explored the city, Spain’s goalkeepers Unai Simón and David Raya spent their day off playing golf. The team is now back to training ahead of their round‑of‑16 match against Austria, set for 2 July.
