Lamine Yamal’s World Cup rise highlighted by luxury Barcelona mansion purchase and public relationship
Lamine Yamal, the 18‑year‑old Spanish forward starring in the 2026 World Cup, has confirmed a long‑term relationship with influencer Inés García. García told followers they met on social media, refuting viral rumors of a chance encounter, and has been seen cheering him on at matches, celebrating his first World Cup goal.
At the same time, Yamal bought a sprawling 3,800‑square‑metre mansion in the exclusive Ciutat Diagonal area of Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, a property previously owned by Shakira and Gerard Piqué. The estate includes three separate houses, a private gym, physiotherapy facilities, indoor and outdoor pools with a waterfall, a high‑tech security system, a garage for ten cars, tennis and football courts, a recording studio and luxury bedrooms. Yamal lives there with his mother, step‑father, younger brother and two friends.
