Lammes Candies acquired by Delightful Development Co. to revive brand

Lammes Candies, a historic Texas confectionery brand established in 1885, is returning to business following an acquisition by Delightful Development Co. The Fort Worth-based hospitality firm, led by Craig Cavileer and Kayla Wilkie-Kinne, purchased the brand in partnership with the Lammes family to preserve its 141-year legacy.

The company is initially relaunching through online sales, with preorders for legacy items such as Sherbet Mints, Longhorns, and Texas Chewie Pecan Pralines having opened in late September. Nationwide shipping is scheduled to begin on November 1. While a full relaunch is planned for spring 2027, no specific brick-and-mortar locations have been announced, though products are expected to be available in retail locations across Texas.
