Lamongan police arrest father and brother for alleged child sexual abuse

Police in Lamongan, East Java, have arrested two suspects, a biological father and an older brother, in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a 16-year-old girl in Karanggeneng District.

The father has been detained, while the brother, identified by the initials MA, was apprehended in the Tuban Regency. Investigators from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Lamongan Police are currently examining the victim, witnesses, and medical evidence to further the investigation.

In response to the incident, the Lamongan Regional Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning Agency (DP3AKB) has provided psychological assistance to the victim. This support is being coordinated with provincial psychologists and local protection units to aid the victim's recovery process.
