Lamont Landers Releases 'Lonely Girl' Single Ahead of Grand Ole Opry Debut

Singer‑songwriter Lamont Landers has issued a new single titled “Lonely Girl.” The track was written by Chris Stapleton and Jesse Frasure and released through Dave Cobb’s Lucille Records imprint under MCA. Produced by Cobb, the song blends Landers’ Southern‑soul voice with elements of rock and R&B, beginning with a restrained vocal that builds into a full‑throated delivery.

Landers, a Decatur, Alabama native, will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 4 at the Opry House in Nashville, an appearance personally invited by Questlove. The performance follows his earlier show at Showtime at the Apollo, placing him among a select group of artists who have played both venues. His recent schedule includes dates in Tuscaloosa, Lexington, Columbus, Mobile and Jackson throughout September and October 2026.
