Lampo Trophy 2026 youth tennis tournament kicks off in Brescia and Ospitaletto, Italy

The 24th edition of the Lampo Trophy under‑12 tennis competition began on Tuesday, July 7, with opening ceremonies and the draw of the group stage in Brescia (Tennis Forza e Costanza 1911) and Ospitaletto (Centro Tennis Ospitaletto). Seven nations are competing for both male and female titles. Italy was drawn into Group A for both genders, facing France, Austria and Mexico (men) or South Africa (women); Group B features Canada, Serbia and Slovenia. The Italian boys’ squad includes Giovanni Fazio, Tommaso Migliorini and captain Tommaso Radic, while the girls’ team comprises Alice Carlinfante, Alice Cella, and Kristel Fantoni Kaba, led by captain Verdiana Verardi.

Matches run from July 7 to 9 for the round‑robin phase, with semifinals on July 10 and finals on July 11. Women’s matches start at 08:45 and men’s at 14:00 each day. The event is free to the public and aims to break Italy’s title drought since 2019.
