Lampros Zarras calls for infrastructure over political rhetoric in Tempi

Lampros Zarras, a municipal councilor for the Municipality of Tempi, has commented on the recent funding allocated for rural road construction. While acknowledging that the funding is a positive development, Zarras criticized the local municipal authority for presenting the improvement of essential roads as a major developmental success.

Zarras emphasized that farmers require more than just road improvements; they need functional irrigation projects, water sufficiency, flood protection, and modern infrastructure to manage production costs and sustain their livelihoods. He stated that the true measure of success will be the timely implementation and quality of these projects, rather than official announcements.
