Lan Huong Nhu Co drama faces controversy over split broadcast schedule

The upcoming historical drama “Lan Huong Nhu Co,” starring Đàm Tùng Vận and Lưu Học Nghĩa, is facing criticism from viewers regarding its broadcasting schedule. The series, which is set to premiere on September 11, consists of 47 episodes divided into two parts.

The first part, titled “Lan Huong Nhu Co,” will comprise 31 episodes, while the remaining 16 episodes, titled “Huong Khi Truong Truyen,” do not yet have a confirmed release date. Audiences have expressed frustration over this non-continuous airing format, fearing that the long gap between parts could disrupt the narrative momentum of the family intrigue plot.

Some viewers have compared this strategy to the 2025 series “Quoc Sac Phuong Hoa,” which also utilized a split-season format and saw a six-month hiatus between parts. While some fans are skeptical, others suggest that if the script, costumes, and acting are of high quality, audiences will remain patient.
