Lana Del Rey provides financial assistance to woman fleeing abuse

Singer Lana Del Rey shared a video on Instagram Stories documenting an encounter with a woman in Los Angeles seeking help to escape an abusive relationship. While driving through Highland Park and listening to music, Del Rey was approached by a woman holding a sign that read, “Fleeing an abusive relationship.”

Del Rey rolled down her window and provided the woman with what appeared to be a $100 bill. During the exchange, the singer advised the woman to “be careful” and to “try and stay away.” The woman thanked the singer, saying, “God bless you,” after Del Rey identified herself by name.
