Lance Anoa'i announces professional wrestling retirement for 2027

Professional wrestler Lance Anoa'i has announced his intention to retire from in-ring competition in March 2027. In an Instagram post, Anoa'i stated that the decision is driven by a desire to dedicate more time to his wife and children after nearly 17 years in the industry.

Anoa'i, the son of wrestler Samu, previously signed with WWE in the summer of 2024 and was assigned to the NXT brand. However, he was released from his contract in October 2025 without making an in-ring debut for the promotion due to injuries. His career highlights include being a one-time MLW World Tag Team Champion.
