Lance Latham prepares for first senior rugby league grand final

Eighteen-year-old rugby league player Lance Latham is preparing for his first A Grade grand final with the Uralla Tigers. Following an impressive debut season in senior football, the second-rower will compete in the upcoming decider.

Latham’s development involved significant time away from home, having moved to Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School at age 12. During his six years there, he played for the school’s First XIII and participated in the University Shield final. He also previously achieved grand final success with the Werris Creek under-18s.

His father, Joe Latham, a two-time Group 3 premiership winner, has observed his son’s progression through various coaching and competitive levels.
