Lance Robinson named Outland Trophy National Player of the Week

University of Louisville offensive lineman Lance Robinson has been named the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week by the Football Writers Association of America. Robinson is the first player in the award's four-year history to receive this weekly honor. This recognition follows his selection as the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Robinson played 58 snaps across three positions—right tackle, left tackle, and center—during Louisville's 44-20 victory over Florida State. His performance contributed to a significant rushing day for the Cardinals, who recorded 397 rushing yards on 43 carries and scored six rushing touchdowns.

Additionally, Louisville running back Isaac Brown was named the ACC Running Back of the Week. This marks the second time this season that the Cardinals have swept both the offensive lineman and running back honors for the conference.
