Lance Stroll spotted driving rare Aston Martin in Monaco
Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll was recently spotted driving an extremely rare Aston Martin DBR22 Speedster through the streets of Monte Carlo during the current racing break.
Released in 2022 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the ‘Q by Aston Martin’ division, the DBR22 is a limited-edition convertible inspired by the brand’s 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1. The vehicle features a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing 705 hp and 752 Nm of torque, capable of reaching a top speed of 318 km/h. Only 22 units of this model were produced.
While the car was originally priced at approximately £1.5 million, its current market value is estimated to be between £2.5 million and £3 million due to its rarity and customization options. The sighting comes amid a challenging season for the Aston Martin team, which has faced technical difficulties with the AMR26 chassis.
