Lancia Gamma: New electric crossover fastback spotted in testing

Lancia is preparing for the official debut of the Gamma at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The new model, a crossover fastback, represents a significant step in the brand's revival following the Ypsilon.

Spy photos of a prototype in ‘Vulcano Black’ reveal the vehicle's design, which features a clean front end and a distinctive horizontal light signature at the rear. Built on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform, the Gamma will be produced at the Melfi plant in Italy.

The lineup will include various powertrain options:

• A mild hybrid version with a 1.2-liter turbo engine producing 145 CV. • Electric versions ranging from 230 CV (over 540 km range) to 245 CV (over 740 km range). • A top-tier HF Integrale electric version featuring all-wheel drive and an estimated power output of 350 to 375 CV, with a range of up to 675 km.

Orders for the Gamma are expected to open after the summer.
