Land Rover debuts Range Rover SV ULTRA at DESIGNART TOKYO 2026
Jaguar Land Rover Japan has unveiled the Range Rover SV ULTRA for the first time in Japan at the DESIGNART TOKYO 2026 festival. The vehicle is featured as part of a design installation titled “Hibiki” (Resonance), created in collaboration with the Tokyo-based architectural firm Klein Dytham architecture.
The installation is located at the AUTOBAHN zone on the KK Line (formerly the Tokyo Expressway). The SV ULTRA represents the pinnacle of the Range Rover lineup, emphasizing modern luxury and technological innovation. Key features include a specialized titanium silver exterior using advanced aluminum flake painting techniques and an interior utilizing eco-friendly Ultrafabrics instead of leather.
A significant technical highlight is the inclusion of electrostatic speakers, developed in partnership with Warwick Acoustics, marking a first for a passenger vehicle. This technology, combined with next-generation vibration acoustic technology, aims to provide an immersive and clear auditory experience. The brand continues to move toward electrification, with plans to introduce full EV models by 2030.
