Land Rover Classic Defender V8 adds Double Cab and Spectral Green finish

Land Rover Classic has unveiled a bespoke family of four remastered Defender V8 models for a private client. The lineup includes a 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top, 110 Station Wagon and the newly introduced 110 Double Cab Pick‑Up, with the 90 Hard Top also now available for ordering. Each vehicle is rebuilt from an original 2012‑2016 Defender, fitted with a naturally aspirated 5.0‑liter V8 delivering 405 PS (298 kW) and 515 Nm, paired to an eight‑speed ZF automatic gearbox.

All four models receive a unique Spectral Green colour‑shifting paint that moves between green, purple and gold depending on light and viewing angle. Land Rover says each car spent close to 400 hours in its paint facility, a process that also covers the 18‑inch alloy wheels, exterior badges and selected interior panels. The interior features Bridge of Weir vanilla leather upholstery with green contrast stitching, Superwool‑bound carpets and embossed Defender floor mats. Optional upgrades include a 9‑inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and DAB+.

The bespoke programme operates on a Bespoke‑by‑request basis, with no published list price; analysts estimate the quartet could cost well over £1 million (or roughly €200 000 plus taxes in Austria). The launch expands Land Rover Classic’s Defender V8 restoration programme with the new body styles, reinforcing its appeal to collectors and off‑road enthusiasts.
