Land Rover announces Range Rover GT electric SUV
Land Rover unveiled the Range Rover GT, a new model that departs from the brand’s traditional off‑road focus. Built on the company’s EMA platform, the GT will launch as a fully electric SUV before the end of 2026, with a hybrid version planned for later release. The vehicle adopts a low‑slung, fast‑back coupe silhouette, making it the lowest‑ground‑clearance SUV in the Range Rover line, and offers a 2+2 seating layout with a minimalist interior featuring dual screens and few physical controls.
The company released early images that show a more road‑oriented design compared with its other models, positioning the GT as a grand‑touring vehicle aimed at highway comfort and technology rather than extreme off‑road capability.
