Land Rover unveils electric Range Rover Sport
Land Rover has officially announced the new electric Range Rover Sport, which is scheduled to begin deliveries to European customers in the first quarter of 2027. The SUV utilizes an 800-volt architecture and features a dual-motor setup, providing a combined power output of 550 cv and 86.6 kgfm of torque.
The vehicle is equipped with a 118.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 609 km. Supported by fast-charging capabilities of up to 350 kW, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes. Land Rover noted that a 10-minute charging session can recover up to 220 km of range.
To maintain the model's sporty characteristics despite the added weight of the batteries, the design incorporates the battery into the floor, reducing the center of gravity by 7.3 centimeters to improve stability and handling.
