Landau holiday card program sees high engagement
The city of Landau has reported high success for its annual holiday card program, which provides children and adolescents with various summer activities. Approximately 1,500 holiday cards were distributed, resulting in 1,510 total registrations for 78 different organized actions.
Participants engaged in a diverse range of activities, including free entries to the Landau outdoor pool, the zoo, and the Silz Wild and Wander Park. Other highlights included canoeing on the Queich river, sports, creative workshops, and excursions to local businesses and clubs. Youth Department official Lena Dürphold noted that the program serves as an effective way for young people to explore new hobbies and diversify their summer breaks.
