Landespolizeiorchester NRW to hold benefit concert in Moers

The North Rhine-Westphalia State Police Orchestra (Landespolizeiorchester NRW) will perform a benefit concert titled ‘Einheit in Vielfalt – Klassik trifft Rock & Pop’ at the ENNI Eventhalle in Moers on October 3, 2026.

Directed by Scott Lawton, the program aims to blend classical orchestral sounds with rock and pop arrangements. Featured performers include singer Oliver Schmitt, a criminal investigator from the Aachen Police Headquarters, who will perform songs by Udo Jürgens and Michael Bublé. A special highlight of the evening will be a musical setting of Hoffmann von Fallersleben’s poem ‘Das Lied der Freiheit’, composed by Lawton.

The event is held under the patronage of District Administrator Ingo Brohl. All proceeds from the concert will benefit ‘WEISSER RING’, an organization that supports victims of crime and their relatives.
