Landis Hotel Taipei launches new American menu at Slate restaurant

Landis Hotel Taipei has launched a new American-style menu at its Slate restaurant to capitalize on the increased foot traffic in Taipei's Eastern District following the opening of the Taipei Dome.

Inspired by the diverse culinary culture of the San Francisco Bay Area, the new menu emphasizes a communal dining experience. Dishes include Bay Area crab garlic noodles, San Francisco-style seafood stew (Cioppino), and various steak and burger options that incorporate local Taiwanese ingredients, such as guava sauce for pork tenderloin.

To promote the launch, the restaurant is partnering with Brand USA, EVA Air, and Centurion to host a promotional sweepstakes. Prizes include round-trip flights to cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle, as well as hotel vouchers and luggage.
