Lando Norris claims improved performance in 2026 F1 season

Lando Norris believes his performance in the 2026 Formula 1 season is superior to his 2025 championship-winning year, both on and off the track. This confidence follows consecutive victories at the Hungarian and Zandvoort Grands Prix.

Despite a difficult start to the season under new regulations that left him trailing in the standings, Norris has revitalized his title defense. He noted that while the current car is more challenging to drive, his technical and mental maturity has increased. He highlighted the intensive teamwork between his sprint race disappointment and his subsequent victory in Zandvoort as evidence of his improved professional growth.

Currently, Norris sits fourth in the championship standings, trailing leader Kimi Antonelli by 83 points.
