Lando Norris criticizes complex Formula 1 regulations

McLaren driver Lando Norris has expressed frustration regarding the complexity and perceived lack of logic in modern Formula 1 regulations. He noted that even for experienced drivers, certain technical aspects and rules can be difficult to grasp.

Norris criticized the FIA for occasionally implementing rule changes during race weekends, citing a recent intervention in Hungary regarding energy deployment and battery usage at speeds exceeding 210 km/h. He argued that such regulations can lead to unnecessary energy waste. The driver suggested that some rules currently in place lack clear purpose from a competitor's perspective.
