Lando Norris seeks Le Mans partnership with Valentino Rossi

British Formula 1 champion Lando Norris and nine‑time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi discussed the possibility of teaming up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Norris said, “Hell yeah I would,” while Rossi replied that he would “wait for Lando.” Both highlighted McLaren’s upcoming return to the top class of the World Endurance Championship, with a Hypercar slated for Le Mans in 2027. Norris noted his crowded F1 calendar makes a near‑term entry unlikely, but suggested a collaboration could happen in “a couple of years.” Rossi, now competing in GT and endurance series for BMW, has raced at Le Mans twice (2024‑25) but suffered technical retirements. McLaren CEO Zak Brown confirmed that Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri have expressed interest in future Le Mans entries. The two drivers also floated the idea of sharing a car at the Goodwood Revival later in the year.
