Lando Norris launches new racing team and reports physical exhaustion

Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has announced the launch of his own racing team, LN4 Fusion, which is set to join the Formula 3 grid in 2027. Replacing AIX Racing, the project aims to secure a Formula 2 license within three years while also operating in Italian Formula 4 and Formula Regional Europe. The venture is a partnership with Fusion Motorsport and includes investment from Dan Richards, featuring leadership from Rene Rosin and engineer Guillaume Capietto. Alongside the team, Norris introduced the LN4 Legacy Program to provide financial support to talented young drivers.

Separately, Norris reported significant physical exhaustion following the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. During post-race interviews, the McLaren driver struggled to remain standing and reported visual disturbances, stating, “I am seeing many stars now. I don't see you... I see six of you.” The race was classified as a thermal risk event by the FIA due to temperatures exceeding 31°C, highlighting ongoing concerns regarding the physical impact of extreme heat on drivers.
