Lando Norris tests McLaren W1 supercar in Portimão

Formula 1 driver Lando Norris recently tested the McLaren W1 at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão. The McLaren W1 is the successor to the F1 and P1 models, representing the third car in the brand’s ‘1’ series.

According to technical specifications, the W1 features a newly developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine combined with an electric module, producing a total of 1,275 CV. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaches speeds of 350 km/h. During the test, Norris noted the high levels of grip provided by the car, though he remarked on the physical intensity required to drive it.

McLaren has announced that all 399 units of the W1 have already been sold.
