Landscape and gardening industries showcase new machinery at German trade fairs

Various industry players showcased new machinery and business developments at recent trade fairs focused on the landscape construction, gardening, and pet sectors in Germany.

At the GaLaBau fair in Nuremberg, HKL Baumaschinen presented a range of rental and purchase solutions, including new battery-powered products. Cangini Benne introduced specialized attachments such as the TX4 forestry mulcher, designed for 5- to 10-ton excavators, and the BTC branch cutter for tree maintenance. Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH highlighted intelligent machine concepts like the TSL 9088 Pro telehandler and the AKR 9040 dumper, which features a 180-degree rotating skip to facilitate unloading in narrow spaces.

In the pet and garden sector, Sagaflor reported on its PRO Garten & Tier trade fair. Managing Director Peter Pohl noted a stable number of franchisees and identified the cat segment as a primary growth driver, despite a challenging market environment.
