Landscape and wildlife photography exhibitions in Brittany
Various photographic works are highlighting the natural landscapes and coastal wildlife of the Brittany region in France.
In Saint-Malo, naturalist photographer Marc Tisseau is presenting ‘Odyssée’ at La Grande Passerelle from November 10 to December 6, 2026. The exhibition focuses on coastal birds, situating them within the movement of waves, wind, and light rather than as isolated subjects. Tisseau, who has a background in coastal biology-ecology, aims to depict these animals as inhabitants of the shoreline amidst human pressure and environmental shifts.
Additionally, the ‘Atlas des paysages’ participatory photographic observatory in Ille-et-Vilaine showcases diverse regional scenery. The collection includes views of the Marette communal pond in Saint-Malon-sur-Mel, urban landscapes in Rennes, the Port of Redon, and the moors of Saint Thurial, emphasizing the beauty of the inland territories and valleys like the Vilaine.
