Landskrona teenagers charged in series of violent robberies

Two 16-year-old boys from Landskrona are facing charges for a series of violent robberies in the Skåne region that occurred over a period of more than a year. The suspects allegedly wore animal masks, including a bear and a pink rabbit, during the crimes.

According to the indictment, the crimes included breaking into homes, threatening victims with weapons, and taping victims' mouths with silver tape. In one incident, two individuals were held captive in an apartment for several hours while being threatened with a knife, a pistol, and a hammer. In another instance, an 82-year-old woman was attacked in her bedroom at night, during which jewelry worth approximately 45,000 SEK was stolen.

The suspects also allegedly robbed a grocery store, Bilal Livs, at knifepoint. Police have secured evidence including surveillance footage, DNA, fingerprints, and digital communications from the suspects' mobile phones. One of the teenagers denies the charges, while the other has admitted to a partial role in the grocery store robbery, claiming he was forced to participate.
