Landslide blocks vital Dong Nai-Lam Dong road

A landslide occurred on the DT 755B road, a vital artery connecting Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces, following heavy rainfall on September 6. The incident took place at the '5 cây' slope area in Phuoc Son Commune, where approximately 20 cubic meters of soil, rocks, and trees slid down from a hillside onto the roadway.

The landslide caused a temporary two-way traffic blockage lasting nearly two hours. Local authorities from the Phuoc Son Commune People's Committee coordinated with specialized units to clear the debris, restoring normal traffic flow by approximately 8:00 AM.

The Dong Nai Construction Department has allocated funds and is currently working on repairs to address sections of the road at risk of further landslides to ensure long-term traffic safety during the rainy season.
