LandSpace launches Zhuque-2E rocket to deploy computing satellites
LandSpace successfully launched a Zhuque-2E Y4 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on October 14, 2026. The mission deployed ten spacecraft into sun-synchronous orbit, including eight ADA Space satellites and two test spacecraft, LT-03 and LT-04.
The eight ADA Space satellites, part of the Three-Body Computing Constellation's Group-02, are designed to verify high-performance computing payloads, high-speed laser communication (both inter-satellite and satellite-to-ground), and large radiator wings for thermal management. This deployment expands the existing constellation to 20 satellites.
ADA Space is working toward an ambitious “star compute” plan to build a space-based AI infrastructure consisting of 2,800 computing satellites. This launch marks the seventh flight of the Zhuque-2E vehicle and the 72nd launch from China in 2026.
