Laneway Festival announces 2027 tour changes and city hiatus

The Laneway Festival has announced significant changes to its 2027 tour schedule, including a hiatus from Adelaide and Perth. Organizers stated the decision was made to manage the logistical challenges of touring many shows across vast distances in a short window, noting that the pause allows them to focus on festival quality and enables artists to perform more headline shows in cities not visited by the festival.

Organizers emphasized that the break is not permanent, telling fans via social media, “this isn’t goodbye, just see you soon.”

Additionally, the festival's Queensland location will shift back to the Brisbane Showgrounds in 2027 following a one-year period on the Gold Coast. The 2027 tour is expected to visit four cities: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland. Details regarding the lineup and specific dates have not yet been released.
