LANG GmbH launches Pulsaris 300fs femtosecond laser at AMB 2026 in Stuttgart

LANG GmbH & Co. KG demonstrated its new Pulsaris 300fs femtosecond laser at the AMB 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart from 15 to 19 September. The system, shown in Hall 5, Stand 5A33, uses ultra‑short laser pulses to machine complex geometries with sub‑micron precision and virtually no heat input. It can process hardened steels, hard‑metals and ceramics without tool wear, creating functional surfaces, decorative textures, micro‑structures and fine engravings directly from CAD data.

Thomas Kozian, managing director of LANG, said the technology allows customers to develop new surface structures quickly and reproduce them reliably, reducing the need for multiple process steps or extensive manual finishing. The Pulsaris 300fs therefore expands design freedom for tool and mold surfaces, influencing haptics, optics and release behaviour while maintaining high productivity.
