Lạng Sơn and Hanoi police launch major criminal investigations

Authorities in Lạng Sơn have arrested Bùi Thị Hạnh for attempted murder after she allegedly forced her partner's 12-year-old son to drink rat poison due to personal relationship conflicts. The child was hospitalized and is currently in stable condition.

In Hanoi, police have launched an investigation into illegal surcharges involving the AZ Thăng Long social housing project. Lương Song Hào, Chairman of Thăng Long Confectionery Co., Ltd., and Lê Thị Thu Trang, Director of Mangala Floor, are accused of directing staff to collect approximately 80 billion VND in unauthorized fees from nearly 300 customers. These funds were reportedly kept off the books for personal and corporate use.
