Langenhagen to open postal voting office for municipal elections

The city of Langenhagen has announced that its postal voting office will open on August 24, 2026, in preparation for the municipal elections scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026. The office is located at the former Landesschornsteinfegerschule on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 7.

Eligible voters can apply for postal voting documents online, via email, or by mail. Online applications must be submitted by September 9, 2026. To avoid potential postal delays, the city recommends applying for documents in person at the voting office starting from September 9. The final deadline for requesting postal voting documents is Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
