The Langley Christmas Choir is seeking experienced choral singers for its fourth annual season. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and will run through Dec. 2. The choir aims to bring together approximately 50 singers from across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley for a Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 6.
Music director Gail Suderman, formerly of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, is leading the project. This year’s lineup includes gospel/R&B artist Crystal Hicks and soloist Stephen Duncan. The choir is looking for participants comfortable with SATB formats and choral music reading, with openings available in soprano, alto, tenor, and bass sections.
