Langley Councillor Paul Albrecht apologizes for profanity at July council meeting
On July 27, 2026, during a Langley City Council meeting about a costly multi‑use pathway and bike lane, Councillor Paul Albrecht, joining via remote video, interrupted Councillor Delaney Mack’s remarks with an expletive, saying “you’re a f____.”
Mack said she was shocked, hurt and frustrated by the outburst. Mayor Nathan Pachal called the comment “completely out of line” and asked if Mack was willing to continue, to which she replied affirmatively.
