Langley hosts annual butterfly release fundraiser

The Langley Hospice Society and Langley Lodge held their annual Butterfly Release fundraiser at Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery on August 8. The event featured the release of 400 Painted Lady butterflies provided by Butterfly Wings & Wishes Ltd.

Participants attended the event to honor the memory of deceased loved ones. According to Kelly McClendon, Senior Manager of Communication and Community Development at Langley Lodge, the funds raised directly support programs not covered by government funding, such as music therapy, outings, and specialized equipment for seniors at the Lodge.
