Langley Rams secure third consecutive victory

The Langley Rams continued their turnaround this season by defeating the Valley Huskers 54‑3, marking a third straight win and keeping the team unbeaten in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) western division. The resurgence follows the hiring of head coach Kye Todhunter and the emergence of quarterback Darryl Overstreet Jr., who was recently named CJFL and BCFC Offensive Player of the Week after posting 409 total yards and four touchdowns against the Okanagan Sun. Overstreet Jr. contributed 277 passing yards with two touchdowns and added 132 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground, including a decisive 20‑yard run late in the fourth quarter. The Rams now lead the seven‑team western conference and have upcoming games against the Prince George Kodiaks on Aug. 8 and again on Aug. 29.
