Langley Regional Airport to host second annual Air Fair
The second annual Air Fair will take place at the Langley Regional Airport on Saturday, Aug. 29. The free, family-oriented event aims to celebrate the region's aviation heritage and showcase local aerospace businesses.
Operating since 1945, the airport serves as a significant economic hub, managing up to 100,000 rotary and fixed-wing flights annually. The 120-acre site hosts a Centre of Excellence for the Aerospace industry, various flight schools, and 55 aviation-related businesses.
Attendees can view grounded aircraft on display, learn about airport operations, and participate in drone races. The festival atmosphere includes a Young Aviators Kids Zone, marketplace vendors, and a new Collector Car Club Zone featuring custom and classic vehicles. Additionally, the event offers free admission to the Canadian Museum of Flight.
