Langreo: Dog rescued from river after being thrown into water

A seven-month-old dog named Karma was rescued from the Samuño stream in Ciaño, Langreo, after being thrown into the water on a Saturday night. Sandra Romero, an employee at the Nalonpets dog grooming salon, jumped into the river to save the animal.

During the rescue, Romero became trapped in the mud, but was eventually helped out by her own dog. Following the incident, the dog was taken to the grooming salon for cleaning and medical care. Karma, who was found malnourished and without a microchip, has since been adopted by a family from La Felguera.
