Lanús Pop & Medieval Expo and Pucará Farmer Fair Showcase Argentine Local Culture

The Lanús municipal government announced a free two‑day Expo Cultura Pop & Medieval at the Centro Cultural Leonardo Favio on July 10‑11. The event features manga and character‑design workshops, live medieval combat demonstrations, a cosplay runway, and a competition to illustrate a version of Superman. Stalls will sell pop‑culture collectibles and products from the local “Hecho en Lanús” social‑economy fair.

Meanwhile, the Movimiento Campesino Indígena Pucará is organizing a farmer fair at the Centro Cultural Manuel Belgrano on Thursday and Friday. The Feria Campesina Pucará highlights regional produce from the four Argentine zones—Puna, Quebrada, Yungas and Ramal—including textiles, lamb and llama meat, Andean potatoes, citrus fruits, honey, and handcrafted woodwork, metalwork and leather goods. Live musical performances accompany the market.

Both events aim to promote community engagement, support local artisans and producers, and provide free cultural activities for residents.
