Lansana Gagny Sakho backs Senegal President Diakhar's political line

Lansana Gagny Sakho, president of the board of APIX‑SA, the Senegalese agency that promotes investment and large‑scale projects, issued a statement reaffirming his support for President Bassirou Diakhar Diomaye Faye’s political line. He stressed that the agency must operate independently of individual political confrontations and continue its mandate to ensure institutional continuity, stability, and the country’s international credibility.

Sakho warned that any attitude of defiance toward the international community would weaken Senegal’s reputation and jeopardise investor confidence, saying, “Toute attitude de défiance ou de rupture vis‑à‑vis de la communauté internationale fragilise cette réputation et compromet les efforts de modernisation, de compétitivité et de transformation économique.” He pledged that APIX‑SA will keep supporting diplomatic normalisation, securing strategic projects, and enhancing Senegal’s economic attractiveness.
